The House
The House was built in 1956 as “Gasthof Waldhaus Rose” and there were 10 rooms with central shower and toilet facility on each floor. After some years it has been rebuild to 3 apartments. In 2010 the renovations started to transform the property into a B&B with modern comfort. The former restaurant/café is now a large living room, and the first and second floors are rearranged. There are three guest rooms, with private bathroom, on the second floor and one guest room, with private bathroom, on the first floor.

The livingroom
The former restaurant/café, is now a comfortable living room. The living room consists of 2 parts; the lounge where you can relax on the comfortable sofas and the living room, where breakfast is served in the morning but where you also can play a game or read a book/magazine. We also offer a large TV in our Lounge.

The terrace
Immediately adjacent to the living room is the terrace. The terrace is also open, during the day for passers-by. We serve coffee/tea with sometimes homemade cake, soft drinks, wine and beers. After 18:00 PM the terrace is for our guests only.

Outside
Around our B&B is lots of space. The total area of the land amounts 2 acres. At the front is a spacious “Wiese” (grassland) with very nice views and the back of our house is directly connected to the forest. Ample parking is available on site. The house is located directly at the starting point of several hiking trails with the name: “An der Böhre”.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You can choose your own breakfast time (between 8:00 – 10:00 am).  We do not serve lunch and dinner but you can choose one of the many restaurants in the area. If necessary we will give you some tips.

We have, of course, Wireless internet access (free of charge). Pets are, however sweet they can be, not allowed. This related to hygiene and perhaps allergies by other guests. We hope you will understand.

We are a non-smoking B&B and we have no special facilities for small children (Adults only).
